Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra's 125th Birth Anniversary and 2nd Sri Mandir Inaugural Festive

Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra's 125th Birth Anniversary and 2nd Sri Mandir Inaugural Festive of Chatrapur held at Satsang Vihar, Chatrapur. The day was begin with Ved Mangalik and Nahabat before sunrise and Usha Kirtan at 5:00 AM and then morning prayer at 6:12 AM. At 7:00 AM the Utsav (festive) was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Guest Sri Ramachandra Patnaik, on the presence of many Ritwiks from Odisha. In addition, Chatrapur's 2nd Annual Satsang Magazine 'Sandipti' was also inaugurated by the Chief Guest. The Inaugural meeting was closed with a beautiful Bhajan.

Gathering of Devotees

 At 9:00 AM Nagar-Sankirtan begin from Chatrapur's Upper Bus-stand with a mass people, bands and kirtan groups which ended at the Satsang Vihar at around 11:00 AM. At around 11:00 AM, a general meeting was started by SPR Dr. Hara Prasad, who also enlightened the devotees with some knowledge points of Thakur; then the meeting covered with many talks, Bhajans, and speeches given by various Ritwiks, Dr. Binayak Mohapatra, Sridhar Mishra any more. More than 6,000 devotees from Odisha and other areas nearby Odisha attended the meeting and enjoyed the function.

Ananda Bazar (distribution of Prasad) begin at 12:45 pm and ended at around 4:00 pm. Matru Sammelan (a meeting, especially for women) held for a hour, i.e. 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Then evening Satsang begin at 6:00 pm followed by evening prayer and kirtan at 5:02 pm. The function was concluded after evening Satsang at 7:00 pm.
